"Nice Walk Around the Capital"
September, 2018
We got dinner with friends near the meetup spot, then went for the tour. It was a small, friendly group, and our tour guide was VERY into it. Compared to other ghost tours we’ve been on in the area (Harper’s Ferry, WV; and Gettysburg, PA), there isn’t as much material, however, the nighttime views of the Capitol Building and the Supreme Court, sprinkled in with some DC lore is really something. I learned a lot, and we were entertained. I’m OK with the $20 I spent on my ticket!

This was a fun tour - a bit of odd DC history with a dash of the paranormal mixed in. Tour guy had a lovable nerd vibe to him. He was professional and courteous.

Samuel Chase or guide was funny and informative. He stayed in character the entire time which I thought was very good. It was a pleasure taking this tour. We all had a great time seeing the sites at night on Capital Hill. Thank you Scary DC we will visit you again.

We enjoyed our 'character' narrated tour of Capitol Hill. It's a fairly easy walking tour. Just note there are no bathrooms nearby. The stories were fun and entertaining.

Upfront our guide for the evening said this tour wasn't scary. The stories were entertaining and were based on truth, more like urban legends. The walk was enjoyable, Paul was entertaining, our group size was cozy, and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Maybe, they may want to change their name to something a little more fitting. Go to this with no scary expectations and you will enjoy yourself. Also, the bar next door to the meeting place called Capital Lounge was a great place to hang out before the tour. The manager there was very hospitable and helpful and the food was pretty good too.
