While at Busch Gardens, I loved strolling through Lorikeet Glen. The rainbow lorikeets really seemed to like me, or maybe it was just the nectar! To get the full experience like I did make sure to purchase a cup of nectar at the entrance to Lorikeet Glen.

"Christmas town too expensive"
December, 2018 NEW
Sorry, I really am not trying to be a scrooge, but we went with 6 adults and 6 children. Price 54.00 each ticket was ridiculous for what was offered. The less ticket you could purchase on line were sold out. Definitely will not be going back again.

Tip: Lines are ridiculous, prices are way to high, to dark for kids to walk around

"Very Nice Staff"

Well when we got there it was raining hard and it was just so dark and wet could barely see anything. Got lost a couple times. And the park closed earlier than it was supposed to, But at the end of it all they apologized for the weather. I also appreciate them giving free tickets so we could come back and enjoy it

"Here's the skinny on this beautiful park"
October, 2018
We went for the last day of Howl-o-scream. The park was decorated with ghosts, ghouls, spirits, vampires, etc. The decorations were excellent and the ambiance after dark was great. It rained a little so there was a slight mist in the air mixed with the fog machines, adding an extra level of spookiness.

There were a few "spooks" wandering around the park in costumes; headless bride's in Ripper Row, Vampires in Italy, etc. There could have been a few more, but I don't know if the weather held a few back or not.

The haunted houses were a mixed bag. Lumberhack was okay. The ground was uneven, but there were a few good scares. The line was fast and efficient. Cornered on the other hand was an hour+ wait and rather disappointing. The rain helped the haunted corn farm setting, but the actors weren't very spooky and there was a lot of the maze where nothing happened. Dystopia was excellent! Very well done, great decorations, the actors were on point and really went with the whole "last night" vibe - being the last night of Howl-o-scream in their Dystopian atmosphere. We only had time to visit three mazes with the length of line for Cornered.

During the day, we were only able to ride a few of the rides. All of our party are slightly larger and found that even the smallest of us was almost too big for a majority of the rides. We saw many other disappointed people using the test seats and discovering they were too big. A lot of these were not very big people either. If you're even the slightest bit plus sized, have wide shoulders, or long legs, you may be in for some disappointment in the ride department. All four of us were able to ride Loch Ness, but not much else in regards to coasters.

"Good time"
October, 2018
I had an amazing time during my trip.
This trip was for my boyfriends 18th birthday. Although I did have an employee get a little rude with me. It was right after Tempesto opened after being shut down all morning. Me and my boyfriend were the first ones to ride and I was so excited so we decided to go again. After waiting about 45 minutes to an hour to get on Tempesto we were finally on the ride and as soon as we sat down and got buckled up and all ready to go a lady came over the intercom can said that they were having difficulties. We were stuck sitting in the seats for about 20 minutes. They repeatedly said they would get us out but we still kept sitting there locked into the chairs. Finally we were able to get off the ride, so I was going to exit because I didn't want to wait again so I got off the ride and tried to go out of the exit. Well a lady that was their said i couldn't go out of the exit. I said ma'am in not getting back on I'm going somewhere else and as I tried to go out the exit she again said no I have to go around. Go I had to shove through hundreds of people just to leave the ride. I was so agitated after this I waited about an hour and a half just to get on the ride and then have a worker have an attitude with me. But I just brushed it off and I overall had a really good time.

It was rainy but the atmosphere was absolutely awesome. Not as hot and crowded as the summer days and nights. There are not much rides because of winter but that's ok. The shows are entertaining and the decorations with the lights are amazing! Beautiful scenery.i wanted to ride the train but the line was really really long. Otherwise, I Would return next winter.

"Christmas Town"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

This was our first time to Christmas Town at Busch Gardens. The loveliness of the lights was at time breath taking. They have done each section differently and it is all so beautiful and so...Christmas. We did not have children with us and enjoyed walking around looking at the light displays and listening to the Christmas music. We went to two of the shows--one based on The Christmas Carol and the other a Christmas review. Both were good. The other shows were more for children, and the ice skating show they had did not start until 730 p.m., offered only once a night. I would have liked to have seen that, but as we got there at 2 p.m., we were ready to leave before the show started. I took off one star for the food, maybe should have taken off 2 --very, very disappointing. We went to Festhaus in Germany expecting to get some sausage or corned beef with German potato salad and kraut. Not offered. Instead you got a plate with a scoop of dressing, mashed potatoes, overcooked vegetables and three sausages or two slices of processed turkey. Covered with a very small amount of gravy. Except for the sausages, it was terrible. I wish I had settled for a pizza (yes, looked like the best item to eat in Germany). If we go again, will look more closely at the menus at the different places that offer food. Will not do Festhaus again.

As a roller coaster lover, this was the best time of year to go to Busch Gardens. We didn't have to wait in long lines, and the weather was wonderful! It was fun enjoying each "country" and all they had to offer, and the shows were done exceptionally and professionally.

The Holiday light are amazing along with the shows. We saw the show in the festival beer house. The dance and singing was really great, very entertaining! We were there on Monday night after the snow storm, there were icy spots and it was hard to walk in the park. Took the Sky Ride back to the enterance since we kept getting lost. We will come back...
